Jonny has contributed to films such as the Tribeca award winner Oxyana and the recent SXSW hit Tchoupitoulas, and is currently releasing his first feature as a director entitled "Sky Line".
Jonny began as a writer for IndieWire and thereafter became a pioneer in brand journalism working with the content marketing agency GMD. He won a Gold Clio (with JWT and GMD), for his work as the publisher of the controversial Ford Bold Moves website, a global content campaign chronicling the largest corporate turnaround in history. While at GMD he also worked with clients like Microsoft, Qualcomm, and News Corp – where he helped create and run “newsrooms” for a global audience.
As a filmmaker, he was Associate Producer on the Tribeca award-winner Oxyana and on the recent SXSW hit Tchoupitoulas, just released by Oscilloscope. His most current work is as Producer on Tom Noonan’s The Shape of Something Squashed, and as Executive Producer on Jonathan Caouette’s The Tic and The Toc.
He recently completed his first feature film as a Director, called Sky Line, slated for release next year.
