Denise Roberts McKee
Denise's favorite documentary is THE ART OF THE STEAL, which explores the decades-long efforts to resolve financial problems of the Barnes Foundation.
Denise Roberts McKee is the Chief Operating Officer at AboutFace Media. She develops and maintains the company’s structure and organization, overseeing day-to-day operations, working with the CEO to identify and implement the company’s strategic goals and objectives.
Prior to joining About Face Media, Denise co-founded and served as Vice-President of Content Development for LimeLife, Inc., a publisher of mobile media for women, which was named a Red Herring Top Company and has partnered with brands such as Time-Warner, NBC Universal, Bravo TV New Media and Rachael Ray for launches across all major North American carriers. The only US mobile publisher focused on the women’s segment, LimeLife produced a broad variety of mobile media, including wallpaper, text alerts, games, downloadable and WAP applications with funding by Rustic Canyon, USVP and Monitor Ventures.
Previously Denise co-founded and served as COO of Stunt Puppy Entertainment (SPE), an independent developer of CD ROM games focused on the children’s market. SPE developed four Number 1 ranking titles, including “Barbie Nail Designer” and “Barbie Gotta Groove” for Mattel as well as the inaugural “Dora the Explorer” CD ROM adventures, and partnered with brands such as Disney/Buena Vista Games, Atari/Infogrames and Leapfrog Toys.
Prior to SPE, Denise served as President of Karen Johnson Productions Inc., an independent animation house with multiple film, broadcast, sports venue, advertising and interactive credits, including work on the motion picture “Fern Gully, The Last Rainforest”, scoreboard production for over 50 professional sports teams, and interactive animation production for Disney, Mattel and Nickelodeon.
Denise is the Executive Director of the Racine Arts Council and serves on the board for Real Racine and advisory boards for Milwaukee Area Technical College.
Also a speaker, Denise brings her years of experience, working with leading brands, to conferences and seminars worldwide, with a focus on content development and marketing. The Online Marketing Institute named Denise as one of its Top 40 Digital Strategists in Marketing for 2014.
